Quinn wished she could just disappear now, instead of having to cope with the rest of the night. She didn’t know what had convinced her to invite Puck to this party, she’d just set herself up for torture. The blonde knew she wouldn’t be able to manage seeing Puck with whoever this Rachel girl was. She was pretty sure she’d say something really offensive to her by the end of the night, she just wouldn’t be able to help herself. So, her plan was to get as wasted as possible. Sure, her parents wouldn’t approve of it but at least if she was drunk she would have an excuse for her behavior right? She hoped so, because she wasn’t sure what was going to happen to night but she knew it wouldn’t be good for her. Nothing about this could be good for her.
Puck already knew she was jealous, even though she denied it repeatedly. Though, he rubbed his happiness in her face and that really hurt. He pointed out everything that was wrong with her relationship, and advertised everything that was right about his. That he’d found someone who was perfect and flawless, and everything he wanted in a girl. While, she was stuck with someone who she didn’t even want to be with. It was like her entire world had been turned upside down since his return and as much as she wanted her life to be easy and simple again, she was kinda glad he was back. Though, she knew that it was hell being around him but not being with him. She’d give anything to rewind the clock and stop him from leaving her. She’d give anything just to kiss him again, properly. She just wanted to be with him, but she knew that wasn’t going to happen anytime soon. He was happy now, and she’d just have to learn to live with that.
That’s when she was brought back to reality by the sight of the familiar boy with the mohawk. Though, her heart sunk automatically when she saw the small brunette girl on his arm. The woman of his life, who was everything he ever wanted in a girl. She was the complete opposite of Quinn, there was no similarities she could find at all. So, everything Puck wanted in a girl was everything Quinn wasn’t? That felt like someone had just stabbed her in the chest. Though, she tried to hide it as she watched them make their way over. She placed the same fake smile onto her lips and looked up at them from where she was sitting. “Hey.” She muttered, trying to place a happy tone into her voice. “You must be Rachel? It’s nice to meet you.” She said, shaking her hand before looking back at Puck. Lies. It wasn’t nice to meet her, but what was Quinn meant to say? ‘Hey, it’s horrible to meet you because you’ve stolen the only boy I’ve ever truly loved from me’. The blonde, sighed taking another gulp from her drink.
Puck looked at Quinn, again, she was just beautiful. He couldn’t stop looking at her, it was like the small girl next to him wasn’t beautiful and he just didn’t care about her. Now, it was all about the blonde in front of him. He did feel the gaze of Rachel on him, but again, he didn’t care. He looked once at the brunette, already missing the beauty of Quinn. Hell, Rachel was for sure beautiful and cute, but Quinn… She was the epitome of the beauty. Seriously, Puck never met a prettier girl than Quinn. Plus, Rachel was kinda weird, she was always singing, she was very selfish and arrogant. Of course, you could think Quinn was like that, but Puck didn’t think that at all. Quinn was a nice person, sometimes a bitch, but it was only against the persons she hated. Damn, she hated Puck. Anyway, Rachel was wearing a weird dress too. She was dressed as Puck’s Nana, and he hated that. That old woman was just weird, just as Rachel was. A soft sigh escaped from his lips, and finally he looked again at the blonde. Damn, why was she that pretty? It was like two minutes ago she was pretty, and now, she was just prettier. Was she getting more beautiful by every minute?
He glanced at the tall man, next to the blonde. Finn Hudson. The lucky guy who has Quinn Fabray as girlfriend. Puck was jealous, yes. He won’t deny it. Finn Hudson had everything he wanted. A beautiful girlfriend, for sure money, and a so cute daughter. Though, it was like Finn didn’t deserve all of those things. He didn’t deserve Quinn, for sure. And the baby neither. Well, at least Quinn didn’t love him. Because Puck would be so jealous if she loved him. Though, Finn was looking at Rachel in a weird way… Like Puck was looking at Quinn. Yes, with the same gaze. Filled by something special, something weird, not love but something like that. Like, he wanted to kiss her now. Hell, Finn couldn’t like a girl like Rachel. He couldn’t leave Quinn for a small girl. It was stupid, and he couldn’t do that to Quinn. Though, if it was that way, then Puck will try to have Quinn again. He smiled at the idea. Maybe Finn could cheat on Quinn with Rachel, and Puck would tell Quinn. Yes, it sounded so amazing. And Puck was pretty sure Rachel kinda liked Finn, after all, he was handsome.
Puck heard Quinn’s voice and couldn’t help but feel a bit sad. To anyone Quinn could be a cold woman, or a nice woman, but Puck knew her more than anyone. For example, he knew that Quinn didn’t feel well at the moment. Puck looked down, as Rachel answered to the blonde. “Yeah Rachel Barbra Berry. A future star, you’ll see me on Broadway maybe.” She giggled, and Puck wanted just to hide, because he felt ashamed of be with a girl like her. Instead, he smiled at Quinn and said, “Nice Party.” The first thing he said was that stupid thing. Wow, he was really smart. Rachel giggled again and added, “You’re kidding? That party sucks! Anyway, I’m going to take a drink.” She kissed Puck deeply and Puck couldn’t help but feel even more sad for Quinn. Why? Well, she had to see her ex kissing another girl. He was an asshole with her. Rachel left, and finally Puck was alone with Quinn. “She didn’t mean it. I’m sure she likes your party.” He smiled slightly, still ashamed of the kiss he shared with Rachel.

I’ll ask her to marry me.
I tried. I wanted to leave, but you told me to stay with a kiss. You can’t play like this Quinn. I’m not a toy.…Fine.
…Maybe that kiss was a mistake. I’m not playing you Puck, I know you’re not a toy but neither am I. All you’ve been doing lately is rubbing your happiness in my face.
You wanted to kiss me, you ran after me for ksising me, and now you told me it was a mistake? Damn Quinn it was your idea, not mine! It’s the second time you do this to me. Two years ago you did the same. I’m sick of it, I’m tired of it. My happiness? I thought you knew me more.

I am not.
It’s not a mistake. Just because it’s not perfect doesn’t mean it’s a mistake. Why can’t you just let me be happy?
I’ll ask her to marry me. I tried. I wanted to leave, but you told me to stay with a kiss. You can’t play like this Quinn. I’m not a toy.

I am not.
Really? Innocent are you? Lately all you’ve been doing is trying to find fault in my relationship.
You are. Because that relationship is a mistake and we both know that.

You texted me with that weird thing… It’s not my fault if you’re jealous.
I’m not jealous! How many times do I have to say that before you actually get the message?
Oh, and you can talk. It’s not like you’re innocent.
You are. I am innocent! I am happy with Rachel and you were sad because of my happiness.

Quinn sighed, standing in front of the mirror and brushing down the side of her dress. It just didn’t feel right going to this party, she’d much rather stay at home alone and watch sad movies while eating tubs of ice cream. That’d be a much painless alternative. Though, she couldn’t do that. She had to go and hold her head high, and try and move on. She doubted that would ever happen though. All she could do was try and be a tiny bit happy without him. The thought of seeing him with another girl killed her inside. She couldn’t show it, she had to keep it inside. She had Finn, and she couldn’t hurt him. She had a family and she couldn’t tear it apart. She wanted to though, she really did.
Speak of the devil. She thought, as Finn came up behind her and put his hands on her waist. “You look fantastic.” He muttered, before pressing his lips to her neck repeatedly. The blonde held back another sigh, but moved away a little. “Come on, we’ve got a party to go to.” She said, eager to stop him but trying not to show it. It just didn’t feel right to have him touch her like that anymore. So, she pushed her hair behind her ears and went to get Beth. She giggled a little when she saw her pulling at the fabric of her dress like Quinn did when she got impatient. Though, when Beth looked up at her she was taken aback for a few moments. Those eyes. Those eyes that were the same as her fathers. She shook it off, and picked up her daughter before making her way downstairs and to the car. They quickly made their way to her parents house, which wasn’t far and then, made their way inside.
Quinn greeted her parents, then went to take Beth to the nursery upstairs. She knew Beth would be tired after crying all last night. So, she put her on the pile of cushions and Beth fell right asleep. Quinn smiled, watching her daughter for a few minutes before making her way back downstairs. Finn was busy talking to people and everyone else seemed occupied too. So, she went and grabbed a drink before sitting down on one of the chairs. As much as she hated it, she couldn’t stop glancing at the door and waiting for that guy to walk through the door.
Puck didn’t know what was going on in his life. Since he came back, everything was different. He knew he screwed up with Quinn, and he understood she preferred another guy. Even if that Franck or Flant, Flint, whatever, seemed to be good for her, Puck never forgot the small jealousy he had in his heart. He wasn’t ready to go to that party, he wasn’t ready to see Quinn beautiful in her dress, with him, kissing him. He just wasn’t ready. He hated that guy, and if it was possible, he would just kick him out of his way. But Puck couldn’t. Because now, he was with Rachel, and he loved her. Okay, he tried to love her. Because hell, he never loved that girl. But he couldn’t allow himself to think like this, so he just pretended to love her, trying to forget his feelings for the blonde. And he was glad when he learned that Quinn was jealous. Because she could say everything she wanted, Quinn Fabray was jealous of Rachel Berry.
Puck was waiting Rachel in the living room, the brunette was preparing herself for the party. In a way, Puck did wanted her to be gorgeous, to look beautiful. To just bright more than Quinn will. But he knew it was impossible. Quinn was so much more beautiful than Rachel. Well, at least for him. Because yes, Rachel was gorgeous, but Puck never forgot the true love of his life. When he started to date Rachel, in first it was only because of sex. Because he wanted to have fun. They met in Los Angeles, they grew up together, and Puck finally left for New York City. After the two years Puck left, he came back and was glad to know that Rachel was in the city, too. They met in his old bar, Puck wanted just to see how things were, and Rachel was there, drinking a glass of beer. They spent the whole night together, and they finally ended up at Puck’s. After that, Puck and Rachel spent a lot of time together, and they were happy. But if something was really good in Rachel, it was her physic. Yes, she was pretty and beautiful, but it wasn’t that. The fact was that she was exactly the opposite of Quinn. Rachel was small, she had brown eyes, brown hair, her skin was tanned a bit. And Quinn? Well, she was tall, she had beautiful green eyes, and blonde hair. Her skin was white as the color of a pearl. So, everytime Puck looked at Rachel, he didn’t think about the blonde. And maybe it was a good thing. Maybe.
Rachel finally went down in the living room where Puck was waiting, and they went to the car. Puck drove at Quinn’s Parents’ house and Rachel was kinda nervous to meet the ex of her boyfriend. “it’s going to be okay, she’s with someone, and now, I have the most beautiful and perfect girl of the world.” He said, trying to reassuring her. Lies. But still, it was at least something. Rachel nodded slightly and kissed him, But Puck didn’t answer to her kiss. He didn’t like to kiss her. Her lips weren’t warm and soft like Quinn’s were. He opened the door and let Rachel walked inside in first. And then, he saw her. Quinn was just beautiful in her dress. She was the epitome of the beauty, to be honest. He smiled slightly, and Rachel pulled at the sleeve of his shirt a bit for making him stop to stare at the blonde. He took Rachel’s hand and he leaded her in front of Quinn. “Hey.” He said, kinda happy to see her, but he remembered what she said last time when she texted him.

Are you seriously asking that? He’s not that tall. He’s not a bit too tall for you ?
He is. But do whatever you want Fabray.
